As a traveller you're heartly welcome to Oppdalsporten at Oppdal, a natural first choice for travellers on the E6. We've got a rich and varied menu at reasonable prices, and we put our hearts in continuing the tradition of serving Norwegian food while offering great service. We have quick serving. Oppdalsporten is only six kilometres from the ski lifts at Oppdal.

The radio program "Weekend start" at the national Norwegian radio station P1 elected Oppdalsporten to be "the jewel of all the Norwegian roadhouses", having tested roadhouses along the E6. Oppdalsporten got the best score in all categories.

From our intimate and spacious roadhouse there is a natural entry to our well equipped grocery store with fruits and vegetables, fresh bakeries and all the articles you may expect here. It is open 7 days a week from early morning till late night.

We also have meeting and party facilities. Our cellar room can fit 50 people. At Oppdalsporten you may fill petrol, we have a separate truck fuel pump and spacious parking areas.

Oppdalsporten has a caravan area with sanitary installations with shower, WC and mothers room, electricity and water as well as an activity field for football and other sports activities. We have a modern sanitary disposing site for camping cars and buses. Use of this is free of charge.

We have a motel with four apartments and eight double rooms. The motel is newly renovated.

Currency exchange and free internet
Here you can exchange your currency with no extra charges and pay in euro or Norwegian kroner.

We have installed a wireless network which can be used free of charge.

We can offer separate rooms with complete laying and service for groups. All our menues are translated into several languages.
The driver and the travel guide will always eat for free with us, even if the bus is empty!
